Romance Wines Featured at Legal Assets Celebration February 7, 2003 Last night over 100 enthusiastic wine aficionados representing Washington’s premier law firms, government agencies and federal courts joined Legal Assets to participate in the legal staffing company’s Third Annual Wine Tasting event. The evening, which also marked Legal Assets’ 15th anniversary, began with the unveiling of the company’s updated logo, marketing materials and web site. The logo, which features a dynamic design and striking colors, captures the forward-thinking vision, sophistication and professionalism of the well-respected legal staffing service. Noted author and wine critic Paul Lukacs presented a selection of “romance wines”. As guests arrived, they were served Hugel “Cuvee les Amours” Pinot Blanc with a selection of hot hors d’oeuvres by Sesto Senso’s attentive staff. The formal tasting consisted of four additional romance wines, including Chandon Argentina, Brut Fresco; Babich Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand; Villa Mt. Eden, Coastal Pinot Noir, California; and Monte Antico, Rosso, Tuscany. Drawing on his vast experience and travels, Paul enhanced the audience’s appreciation of each wine with an entertaining mix of facts and anecdotes. The evening concluded with the contented crowd sipping Benjamin Tawny Port and savoring mouth-watering chocolate-covered strawberries. As has been said, the definition of a good party, like a good wine, is that it should start and end with a smile. Judging from the smiles of enjoyment of the participants, the Legal Assets Wine Tasting was a great success.
