Mixing Civil Procedure with some magic tricks, Judge Loren Smith of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims kicked off Legal Assets' BreakfastClub Training Series in fine form. Legal Assistants, Project Assistants and Managers from Washington's premier law firms enjoyed a continental breakfast followed by a seminar that focused on the litigation process.

The training mirrored the chronology of a recent headline-grabbing case. The Judged walked everyone through the litigation process, from the filing of the Complaint to the Supreme Court decision. Judge Smith, who also teaches at Catholic University Columbus School of Law, was a lively, engaging speaker. Attendees had the opportunity to learn practical tips and engage in an informative dialogue. Participants gained true insight into a judge's perspective.
