Managers and paralegals from more than two dozen of Washington, DC’s top law firms were treated to an entertaining and thought-provoking presentation on generational differences in the workplace at Legal Assets’ May 6, 2008 BreakfastClub Training Session.

Dr. Dana Brower of the Halcyon Group led a discussion of the traits that characterize the four generations currently in the workforce and suggested practical techniques to address the challenges each group brings to the office. Backed by research and delivered with good humor, Dr. Brower’s presentation guided the participants through the differing expectations Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Generation Xers and Millennials bring to the workplace and provided helpful advice on how to manage and communicate successfully across the generations.
